Disco Tropicana – Complex Maastricht

Maastricht! Op vrijdag 13 oktober strijkt de rondtoerende karavaan van Disco Tropicana neer in Complex Maastricht voor een nieuwe editie van hun tour, die start in augustus in Paradiso Amsterdam.

De oplettende festivalbezoeker kent dit collectief misschien al van hun eigen festival areas bij Dance Valley, Paaspop Festival, Op Dreef Festival, Stadsoase, Smerrig, Groove Garden, of optredens bij Solar Weekend en de Pinkpop-camping. De luisteraar van Sublime, Qmusic en Radio 2 hoort de releases van hun label op de radio.

Disco verdient nog een decennium, daar is Disco Tropicana van overtuigd. Daarom brengen zij een frisse mix met het beste van toen en het lekkerste van het heden. Géén standaard disco-avond met alleen maar golden oldies, maar allerlei heerlijke disco-invloeden vanaf de jaren '80 tot nu.

Verwacht de beste discohits, pumpin' funky house, disco-klappers en disco-inspired songs tijdens een gezellige avond waar de funky tracks je om de oren vliegen. Van Purple Disco Machine tot Donna Summer, van Armand van Helden tot Earth Wind & Fire, van Sophie Ellis Bextor tot Mousse T, van Dimitri From Paris tot Jamiroquai. Herkenbaar, maar zeker niet standaard!
